If there is one thing I learned as an elected official, it's that your service is only as good as the people you serve's participation in their community. In other words: everybody needs to get involved and strive for a better tomorrow.
It's not as easy as it may sound: local businesses struggle with their own problems, nonprofits are overburdened and families have as many commitments as an busiest elected official.
That's why we founded the Empowerment Congress. No one can do it alone but together, if we collaborate, share resources and knowledge, reach out a helping hand to each other, there is nothing we can't accomplish.
Empowering the community is at the center of my life as a leader. I know and have learned that only by giving people the tools, resources and sometimes the inspiration will we be successful.
So, I hope you and your family, organization, or business will join us this year. It will be a great program as you can see from the flyer below.
Finally, the real truth is that when I see my District empowered, I feel empowered myself. Your service inspires my own.
Join me and I will join you.
